Dental Implants in Godstone

Single Implants

Missing teeth not only affect your confidence but also affect your ability to chew and enjoy your food. Natural teeth can be missing for a variety of reasons such as tooth decay, injury or gum disease.

A dental implant is designed to replace a missing tooth. First, a titanium post is carefully placed into the jaw bone. Once this post has fused to the jaw bone a crown is fitted, which replicates the appearance and chewing functions of your missing natural tooth.

Multiple missing teeth or large gaps can now be replaced using dental bridges that are supported by a number of dental implants.

Don't let missing teeth affect your quality of life. Contact White House Dental and Implant Centre for dental implants in Godstone.

Same Day Teeth

Same day teeth treatment offers a solution to remove the need for dentures and allows the wearer to walk out of the surgery on the same day with fixed teeth.

The same day teeth procedure replaces a full upper and or lower arch of teeth with a bridge of between 10-12 teeth supported by 4-6 implants. The implants are strategically placed to spread the forces and pressures across the whole jaw which are created whilst eating and chewing.

This Treatment is ideal for patients who:

  • Have multiple missing upper or lower teeth

  • Struggle to eat or are limited to soft foods

  • Have difficulty speaking/chewing with ill-fitting dentures

  • Want to avoid the need for dentures or removable teeth

  • Want to prevent further boneless

How Long Does it Take to Get an Implant?

Implant Treatment is a bespoke treatment that is tailored to each individual. This process can vary from immediate crowns on to the implants (Same Day Teeth) to rebuilding bone and placing implants 6 months later.

Can I Get My Teeth on the Same Day?

This is possible in some cases. A temporary crown is placed onto the titanium post on the day of placement. This is then later replaced with a final crown once the post has fully integrated with the jaw bone.

How do I know if I have Enough Bone?

We always carry out scans to assess the bone to ensure there is a sufficient amount before proceeding. If you do not have enough bone, we can carry out additional grafting procedures to increase the bone volume.

Dental Implants FAQs

Q: How long do dental implants last?

A: Dental implants can last a lifetime with good oral hygiene and regular dental check-ups.

Q: Are dental implants suitable for everyone?

A: Most people are good candidates for dental implants. However, certain conditions, like uncontrolled diabetes or severe bone loss in the jaw, may affect your eligibility. A comprehensive dental exam will help determine if implants are right for you.

Q: How long is the healing process for dental implants?

A: The healing process varies, but it generally takes several months for the implant to integrate fully with the jawbone before the final crown, bridge, or denture can be attached.
